New World Telecommunications Ltd ("NWT") announced that the Hong Kong Chamber of Small and Medium Business Limited ("HKCSMB") has selected the company as the "SME's Best Partner" in recognition of its service quality and excellent support to local SMEs.

The "SME's Best Partner Award" was held since 2006, aiming to recognize companies for their support to the operation and development of SMEs in Hong Kong.
The judging panel, comprised of professionals from various industries, selected winners based on the culture of the participating companies, their communication mechanism with SMEs, as well as the importance of their products or services to SMEs'development.
The judging panel includes Ms. Yvonne Choi, JP, Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development (Commerce, Industry and Tourism), Dr. Roy Chung, JP, Deputy Chairman of Federation of Hong Kong Industries, Dr. Lewis Luk, Founding President of the Professional Validation Council of Hong Kong Industries, Dr. Lui Sun Wing, Vice President of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Dr. Carrie Willis, MBE, JP, Executive Director of Vocational Training Council, and Mr. Felix Chan, MH, Life Honorable President of HKCSMB.
Altogether, 17 companies were awarded "2008 SME's Best Partner".
