Providing Access to the Group's Green-related Information
New World Development Company Limited ("the Group" or "NWD"; Hong Kong stock code: 17) today announced the launch of a brand new Green New World website at http://www.greennewworld.com.hk, providing direct and immediate access to the comprehensive environmental-related information of the Group.
The new site follows the Group's green corporate identity and embodies its commitment to environmental protection and its vision for sustainable development through its Group Environmental Policy and Environmental Committee.
Mr Adrian Cheng Chi-Kong, Executive Director of New World Group and Chairman of the Group Environmental Committee, said, "As a responsible corporate citizen, the Group is concerned about and actively participates in environmental protection. The logo also reflects unity and synergy among numerous companies of the Group in various green-related efforts.
The Group has established the Group Environmental Committee in leading group companies to formulate environmental targets, drive the implementation of green measures and promote environmental protection both internally and externally. It has also properly formulated and effectively implemented its Group Environmental Policy so as to contribute to the global environment.
